Bamboo floor is getting more and more popular due to its green characteristics, attractive wooden grain and competitive price. Bamboo is a grass instead of wood. It can grow much faster than trees. It will take several decades for hard woods to reach full maturity, which bamboo needs only 3-5 years.
Floating flooring is a popular installing method in current flooring market. It is easy to install, replace and cost less than traditional installation. When we install the floating floor, we usually lay a foam underlay first. Then floating floor is laid on top. We don't need to fix the floorboards to sub floor by glue or nail. The floorboards are not attached to the sub floor. Most of floating floors can lock each other by click system. If you want to remove it in future, it is easy to do it. Basically, we can do any floating floor on anywhere the sub floor is plain enough.
Timber flooring is always part of the fashion for home design, even though we have been using it for hundreds of years. Timber flooring material can be raw timber or prefinished. When engineered timber floating floor is invented, we can install timber flooring as floating floor.
